Ransomware groups are growing bolder and ransom demands are on the rise.
According to the 2022 Unit 42 Ransomware Threat Report, the average ransom demand in cases we handled climbed 144% to $2.2 million in 2021. At the same time, there was an 85% increase in the number of victims who had their names and other details posted publicly on dark web “leak sites.”
